These terms and conditions govern the use of rccarworld.com. This Site is owned and operated by RC Car World, LLC. This Site is an ecommerce website. By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of RC Car World LLC and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

Age Restrictions

The minimum age to use our Site is 16 years old. By using this Site, users agree that they are over 16 years old. We do not assume any legal responsibility for false statements about age.

As a user of our Site, you agree to use our Site legally, not to use our Site for illegal purposes, and not to:

Sale of Goods

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods available on our Site.

  • Remote Controlled Cars & Trucks.
  • Remote Controlled Cars & Trucks Parts

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the goods that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. This includes all products listed as being out of stock. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our goods are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all goods we provide. You agree to purchase goods from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

Payments

We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Visa, Discover and AMEX)

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument. If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

Local Pick-Up Terms

You may place an order for local pickup. We will hold the item for up to 30 days.

For your protection, only the person who placed the order (or a person designated at the time of purchase) can pick up the items.

Please bring the credit card used for the purchase and an official photo ID to the pick-up location.

If the credentials match, (Photo ID and Credit Card) you will receive the product. *We reserve the right to deny delivery and initiate a refund for pickups that do meet these requirements. We do not accept non-official identifications.

Customer pick-ups are typically ready within an hour of placing the order only during open store hours.

Our store hours are as follows:

Monday – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Closed July & August)
Tuesday – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Closed July & August)
Wednesday – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday – 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Friday – 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Saturday – 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Sunday – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Any item that is not picked up within 30 days will receive store credit that can be used for up to 1 year.

You are responsible for inspecting all pick-up items.

Pre-Orders

We guarantee that pre-ordered products will be delivered within a 90-day delivery window, or we will refund 100% of your payment.

A pre-order is an order placed for a product that hasn’t been released or is not currently in stock (back-order).

Pre-orders will not be available at the time they are advertised online or at the store in Cinnaminson NJ as a display item only.

Pre-orders require a 10% deposit or full payment, to be made at checkout.

Pre-orders will ship within 24 hours of the product becoming available.

If the pre-order item is going to be delayed, we will update you to keep you informed of when the item will become available.

When you place an order with us, you agree to wait until the product is back in stock or officially released to be shipped to you.

Once the product is available it will be shipped the next business day by UPS. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and product measurements, based on the destination zip code.

There is no charge for ‘In Store Pick Up’.

When you place a pre-order with us, you agree to abide by these terms & conditions.

Shipping Information

We only ship within the 48 Continental United States. We ship phone orders under $100 to Canada. (Updated 3-24-24)

When you purchase goods from our Site, the goods will be delivered by UPS Ground or FedEx Ground.

Some smaller items may be shipped using the US Postal Service.

  • All orders will ship within 3 business days from the order date.
  • Most orders ship within 24 hours of order placement, when the store is open.
  • A signature may be required for orders worth $500 or more. *Removing the signature requirement in ‘My UPS’ makes you fully liable for any loss or theft, and no refunds will be issued.
  • Some large items may be available for store pick-up only.

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, product measurements, and the destination zip code.

You are responsible for paying any such duties or sales taxes.

We are not liable for delivering your goods to the wrong address or person because you provided us with inaccurate or incomplete information.

Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your goods. We accept refund requests for goods purchased from our site for the following reasons:

  • The received item does not match the description.
  • The received item is the wrong size.
  • Change of mind (subject to a 10% restocking fee).

Refunds do not apply to the following items:

  • Items showing signs of wear or damage.
  • Opened items without original packaging.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Unsealed batteries and opened box electronics
  • Sealed goods subject to the manufacturer’s warranty (we will assist you in obtaining the warranty service)
  • Custom orders

To process your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer if you are requesting a refund from us.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your online account within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be credited. Sale items are not eligible for refunds.

Exchanges

Shipping Returns

You are responsible for paying your shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is due to our error. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return was due to our error.

Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

For more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee the reception of your returned item.

Consumer Protection Law

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless RC Car World LLC and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Additional Terms

  • Anything that has already been opened and used cannot be returned and if faulty is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site.
