Achieving the best results with this pre-thinned paint involves applying several light coats to build up the color, which will initially appear faint. The critical step is to then apply a high gloss black backer, which makes the vibrant color-shifting effect truly “pop.” For optimal adhesion and finish, always ensure the surface is properly prepped before application. While primarily formulated for clear RC car and truck bodies, it can be used for external applications by applying the backer as a base coat and finishing with a quality clear coat for high lustre.
