This Spaz Stix Candy Blue Airbrush Paint is an enamel-based, translucent formula designed to deliver vibrant, custom finishes on polycarbonate RC car and truck bodies.
Spaz Stix Candy paints are renowned for their translucent quality, allowing for a unique depth of color when applied correctly. This pre-thinned paint sprays very clear and requires several light coats to build intensity. To achieve the desired “pop” and richness, a backing color is essential after the candy coats are applied. Recommended backing options include white for brightness, silver or metallic silver for a rich color with depth, or gold for a darker finish with maximum depth. For a unique colored chrome effect, Ultimate Mirror Chrome can be used as a backer.
While primarily formulated for clear polycarbonate RC bodies, this paint can be used on other surfaces with compatibility testing. For external applications, apply the backer as a base coat before the candy paint, and finish with a quality clear coat for a high luster.
