This Spaz Stix Candy Purple Airbrush Paint is a translucent, pre-thinned formula designed to deliver stunning, custom finishes on polycarbonate R/C car and truck bodies. It provides a vibrant, “hard anodized metal” look, ensuring an eye-popping result every time.
Spaz Stix Candy paints are unique in their translucent nature, requiring several light coats to build color intensity. To achieve the desired “pop” and depth, a backing color is essential after the Candy paint is applied. Recommended backing combinations include White for brightness, Silver or Metallic Silver for a rich color with depth and sparkle, Gold for a darker, deeper finish, and Ultimate Mirror Chrome for a distinctive “colored chrome” effect.
While primarily formulated for clear R/C bodies, this paint can also be used for external applications. For external use, apply the backer as a base coat before the Candy paint, and finish with a quality clear coat (such as SZX90109) to achieve a high lustre and protection. This pre-thinned paint is ready to pour into your airbrush and spray.
